And now I am a vocalist, teacher, and founder of Opole Youth Choir, working with wonderful singers. I am also the author of the musical "Emeraldia". I love creating and organizing.
I have extensive experience. In short, as a vocalist, I have been active since 2002, starting as a soloist with Opole Gospel Choir. With the choir, I participated in many Polish and international gospel festivals, as well as in the premiere and recording of the rock oratorio "Bo ma duszę nasz dom" (Our Home Has a Soul)—libretto by Ernest Bryll (a famous Polish poet and songwriter), music by Stanisław Fiałkowski, vocal arrangement by Jacek Mełnicki. We were honoured with several awards, including the Journalists’ Award at the National Festival of Polish Song (Opole 2006), the International “Gospel Camp Meeting” Festival, and the European Gospel Award – Berlin 2005.
I have taken part in numerous television programmes, radio recordings, and album productions. I have collaborated with Polish stars (such as Maryla Rodowicz, Ryszard Rynkowski, Varius Manx, Andrzej Piaseczny, and Czerwone Gitary) as well as international artists (Drupi, Demis Roussos) during festivals and concerts. From 2004 to 2008, I performed in Wrocławski Teatr Współczesny in the play "American Blues".
I am the author of "Sing with Ms. Gugu" (a book with vocal exercises for children), and I occasionally illustrate children’s books. 🙂
I have played countless concerts as a soloist, but my biggest vocal and mental breakthrough happened during the pandemic, when I rediscovered what really resonates with my soul.
Currently, I co-create the folk band Green Fusion and compose songs, for me and for children. I seek inspiration in nature and the North, which is why I sometimes like to get lost in those regions.
Love,
